the only way I know to "reinitialize the sound" is: Save - Exit - Load!

Yeah, maybe h.sie could do something about that, when he is back.

Looks like that the sound deteriorates when switching between full-screen game and desktop. I tried to go hiking in windowed mode: the sound was clear, even after waking from hibernation

alright im having some troubles with the install. I am using a steam version, I go to install the full version and it gives me this error

Can not open 'C:\User\Joe\downloads\LSH3_v5.1_FULLVERSION.EXE' as archive

anyone know what im doing wrong?

UPDATE

I fixed this issue, but now on launch im getting can not initialize 3d engine. I am using a steam version.

Hello andwii,

this is no steam-problem.

But there are several possible solutions:
- update your graphics-card-driver (or try to get an older version)
- if you are using a HDMI-cable try a DVI-cable
- if you've got an nvidia-card, check driver-settings for sth like "scaling by display" (don't know if ati got this too)
- reduce display-frequency to maybe 60Hz, start the game, exit and set it back to the original value
- update directx-codecs
- start dxdiag, goto tab "display" and check, whether the accelerations are ON

I hope one of these will help!
If not, please tell more about your PC:
OS, CPU, graphics-card, memory, display-type and -resolution, activated list of mods

Final question: are you using hires-fix?

Congrats for your great supermod... i guess it is good.

I have downloaded this mod and this is the only mod in my pc of SHIII.
-i have STEAM-

The problem is..

i put the file "LSHE3_V_5.1_FULLVERSION" in any place of my pc, i press "install" (i write the route of file correctly) and doesn´t works...
CAn not open file "E:\steam\steamapps\....LSHE3_V_5.1_FULLVERSION.ex e" as archive

i´ve tried this several times and doesn´t work
can you help me??

Hi blueduck, I have recently downloaded LSHE3_V_5.1_FULLVERSION as well, It installed properly in JSGME, and it works in Naval Academy and Single Missions, but when I go to start a career, it loads 85-90% and then freezes. Help please?

Well imberbe,

This is no archive-file, it is an executable archive. Just doubleclick and it will start.
Do you have 7-Zip installed?
Maybe rightclick the exe, chose 7-Zip, then Open.

If so, then I would need some facts about your PC:
- OS
- CPU
- RAM
- Graphics-card
- and: the activated list of mods.

Yes I followed the steps, however, the 4GB patch wouldn't load.
Windows 7
Pentium Dual-Core E5200 @2.50GHz
4GB RAM
NVidia GeForce 9500 GT with DirectX 11.0

Installed mods right now are just:
LSH3_V5
LSH3_V5.1
