I believe Synchronized applies only for Online matches
![]() I personally have it un-checked since I don't play online with GWX 3.0

Synchronized forces the video to refresh at the native refresh rate of your monitor. Leave it unchecked unless you have video problems.

i think that (...can't express this right in...english), when you are looking at a 3d screen , the ''sync'' is correcting the vertical 'brakes' of the screen. note that ''sync'' is a fps 'killer' when is on

vSync "on" forces the graphics card to display the screen image at the same rate (fps) as your monitor's refresh rate (typically 60-75Hz). As your monitor cannot display individual frames any faster than it can refresh, there really isn't any point in having vSync "off" except to massage the ego!

I agree; those of us in the heartland move a bit slow at times.

Don't know what the

Ah! That's what I get for not being native-born American; a total lack of knowledge in the use of acronyms! Thanks for the info!

Heartland=Midwest (Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri) Most of the old NorthWest Territory we stole for the Native Americans ("Indians")
