Yep, one year ago today(my mistake, I joined on the 19th, but close enought.)... I got sick of the old forum I was on and made the switch over to subsim.... Glad I did also, forums here are alot better in my opinion...

After signing up, it took me almost two years before I got up the nerve to start posting on SubSim. I wasn't so nervous about it over at the WPL/SubClub. People know their stuff here, and that can be intimidating. In the long run it's good, as it forces you to have your ducks in a row as well.

I was in a thread about where to find enemy submarines in the sh3 section.

I believe the reason I fit somany post in at one time is cause of afiew reasons...
1 there was no homework at school this year...
2 my neigborhood is deprived of kids who arnt little pr*cks
3 no lack of topics.
4 all the game threads.
5 err... il think of it.

Better than my story. My first post on subsim was due to my inability to figure out that the angle of my periscope affected my gyro-angle when manual input was off. I could not understand why my torpedoes would not simply go straight like I wanted them to.

Congrats on your subsim anniversary, and I hope you'll stick around.

yer welcome, yep, im gonna stick around... I only left the old forum cause the enviornment changed when the forums swhiched... (I was the only origional member left I think...)

I think I mentioned it before... they seem to fear warships in there game (ship simulator.)

So I came here...

Wow Task Force, one year? I've been here two years longer than you, still I've always seen you as a older member, never noticed that you just joined in 2008.

Also weird that you could join that late and still get the name "Task Force". I was sure with a typical SubSim name like that, you'd be an old wolf!
