Default 2 mods together ?

Hello.
I´m new to this Forum. I`ve read a lot of threads, but this is my first Post
I´m from Germany, so sorry for my english.

My question is:
Can i run FOTRS and RFB together ?
in the manual of RFB it is said, that some mods are uncompatible with RFB, but FOTRS is not named.

Has someone tried these two mods together ?

thanks for any answer

Greetings

Hi, and welcome to the forums! I don't think the two are compatable. Both could be classified as "supermods", or mods that include lots of different mods and make lots of changes to gameplay. I use RFB myself, and love it. If you're looking for a more realistic sim, this is the mod for you. I'm not sure about all the changes FOTRS makes but I'm almost positive the two don't mix.

WELCOME ABOARD!

I don't have an answer; just wanted to say "Hi".

And your English is fine.

Welcome, I'm pretty new here myself but I can tell you that the two mods are not compatible directly. In order to get them to work together you'd have to mix and match files as well as figure out what features you want to keep from each mod. I've been messing around with the two and have gotten all the ships and subs from RFB to work correctly with FOTRS.

the thread for FOTRS says that it is based on the TMO mod so if it uses TMO files in it, you may have trouble trying to combine RFB with a mod based on TMO because i would think that combining FOTRS with RFB would be the same as trying to combine TMO with RFB as far as compatabilty issues go.

i think silverwolf's working along simular lines of what your trying to do so maybe together you two can proceed as a team and have better success by being able to try different things and compare what will or wont work.

also im sure the RFB Team would be willing to give you some advice along the way if you asked them.
