Default Periscope Mount in Control Room

While Realistic, I find the huge periscope mount thingie placed in the control room by GWX to be quite unattractive.

I'd rather be able to look all the way down to the end of the room to make sure nobody is stealing my ham without this big pipe thing in my way.

Is there a way to remove it, or it permanent?

(Tried to do a search on this, to no avail)

Install Asinovic's 'Little Camera Mod'. It lets you walk around without using Shift+F2. Then you can stand somewhere else. The periscope is where it is because it's supposed to look crowded.

bah. the periscopes there for historical effect, it really WAS there!
perhaps, and correct me if im wrong, oh great sh3 modding masters,
copy the type VII interior and paste it somewhere safe, (desktop, for example) and install GWX, then, paste the stock interior back into the game, and it should be fine.

It would take a lot of work to remove it so whilst the answer is 'yes' it can probably be considered as a 'no' also.

Interesting to see your connection with the USS Texas....I visited her last October
