These are the V1.4 compatible versions of Tomagabriels Ohio SSBN and Skipjack SSN mods. Compatibility changes were made by me, ETR3(SS). As changes are made to the 1.5 versions I will be making them to the 1.4 versions as well.
Changes to both are: - Replaced the US_torpedos512.dds file - Moved the Loading screen images to correct file path for V1.4 - Updated the Menu.txt file for V1.4 - Made Minor change to the SSOhioSSBN.cfg (or SSSkipjackSSN.cfg) file Changed name to USS from NSS - Removed Data\Textures\TLowRes\Tex\TII_G7E.tga and TIV_G7ES.tga files as they do not apply to V1.4 same with TNormal folder - Updated Ammunition.upc for V1.4 - Removed Localization folder and file as not needed in 1.4 - Changed Ammunition.upc to autoload only the MK 48 torpedoes. - Changed Flotilla and CareerStart.upc file to original format to correct repeat mission bug. Original Files included for TMO users, just copy and paste over the appropriate directory. - Made appropriate changes as referenced in the readme file reguarding the T11 and Mk27 torpedos. (Skipack only) Here's the links to the mods Ohio SSBN: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=1147 Skipjack SSN: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=1148

You're quite welcome. I just noticed I made a mistake in the readme files. Instead of "TMO users" it should have been "RFB+RSRDC users". Skipjack and Ohio were based off of the 688i mod so they had the RFB+RSRDC flotillia and career start file formats. The stock formats are included in these mods as well. Just wanted to clear that up for everybody.

Not to sound like an idiot, but I take it these boats are not currently compatible with 1.5, which is why I'm experiencing a CTD everytime I try to go to sea in the Skipjack?

That is correct. The 1.5 versions are in the download area as well but here are the links.

The book Scorpion down, on page 78 they went into pretty deep discussions about the abilites of the ship of the Skipjack class SSN. Apparently at flank it was able to hit 35knots and could dive all the way to 1300 feet. I am not sure if that was test depth or crush of course because they wouldn't tell you that

Yes you can. Go into the boats folder and look for NSS_SkipjackSSN.sim first. Open that with S3D and go to the node labeled unit_submarine expand that and in speed setting is in the sub-node there. As for changing depth, open NSS_Skipjack.cfg and the depth settings are in there.

Well, the mod is very nice, and going to patrols with ADCAP's is very awesome. But, it isn't very nice - actually, it isn't nice at all - when I use the Gatos and Balaos and there's these big periscope masts sticking out of the sub, what, besides making those subs aestethically incorrect (and strange), it makes the subs more easily seen by the escorts (and the other ships in general). Is there any solution for this?
P.S.: oh, I forgot I also have problems when using the periscope, since there is another one blocking the vision.

The only solution to your problem for the moment would be to disable the mod.
