Default May 24/25 DW Big Game!

Putting together an opposed convoy transit, WWIII type scenerio.

We have some surf and some air guys. I can fit in anyone who wants to play if you can give me a point of contact and let me know what platform you'd like. I can scale the scenerio to whoever wants to show up! Hoping for at least 4 kilo player, but I'll take anyone who shows.

It'll be about 6pm CST for the game. Gimmie' a vote on whether you want LWAMI 3.09 or stock.

Sounds like fun.

I'll vote for LWAMI of course. Platform doesn't really matter. I'll go where I'm needed.

That sounds fun ! I'm in. I prefer either the Seawolf or the 688i.
I second the vote for LWAMI.

This type of scenario is begging for Alfa Tau mod.
OPpfor units such as Tu-95 Bear or a surface ship such as the Udaloy.
As good as lwami mod is, you're really losing some great potential by not having player controlled opfor (air and surface) units.

Default Up!

Me and Grindler are up for a game! Both FFGs please.

What type of communication you prefer? GameSpy? IRC?
We can use our Teamspeak server if needed.

Regards.

It will be an eastbound slow convoy off of the US East coast near the Virgin Rocks. Midwar Scenario with the Soviets already broken out through the GIUK Gap.

US Will have land-based air. What is this Alfa Tau deal of which you speak? Linky?

I will consider Tu95 and Soviet Surf forces if there is mod to make them playable!

Need more OPFOR players!

Can't attend ... while I'm for once in a timezone that would let me play easily my current internet connection is only good for anything but playing.

Here direct link to the mod, available on subguru's website : http://www.subguru.com/AlfaTau3-1.exe

Its a mod like the old SCU for sub command in that it has a lot of new playables. Russian side has an udaloy, tu-bear and some new subs and also a helix helo.
There are also Type 212 and some new us subs.
The mod is compatibile with jsgme, so you can install it next to lwami. Oh and be sure to read the readme.

Is there a readme file anywhere for the Alfa mod? Is it standalone? Or LWAMI compatible?
