think it can be done? im in the 33rd fleet and got transferred. instead of letting the boat magically appear in Flensburg im going to try to sail it over. im in gibraltar right now just N of Ceuta

I think I read somewhere that they transferred the boats via rail. And that was the reason that they only used only type II in the Mediterranean.

Yeah, I wonder IF you can even pass through the Bosphorus (spelling???) at Istanbul, Turkey. Maybe it is landlocked. But if they can make the Kiel Kanal then this should be no problem to mod. I've just never heard of it.

after take 2 i did it! (1st take was hamperd by previously mention CTD..)
hugged coast ran 1\2 on the surface 1\2 under i just docked at la Rochelle now here gos the good part... all this and its late 1944! my type II (U-18) is running full stock, no Tarrenmatte, Albrecht or anything
