HiY'all
I couldn't seem to find this particular problem in thread search. What happens is that I start a career and I go on to save a number of games. But after a few quits and restarts, at one point, when I load up the game again, I find that all my saved career games have disappeared. (IOW deleted) ![]() At first I thought it might be a one-time fluke, but it has happened three times in a row now and so I have to ask is this a known bug? BTW, I have the download version with patch 1.4.0.1 Any thoughts? Thanks, Jim Razz |

A mystery to me. Someone will show up who can help. Have you checked the careers folder in My Documents?
And welcome aboard

I checked the SH3/data/cfg folder and there "are" some cfg files there, which I opened up, but to be honest I don't know what I should be looking for.

Scroll down to post #10. Same thing happened to me. I always start a fresh install with a new bogus player in the career menu. ()hitz Loader just sits there and never goes to sea. I use his name in the naval academy log too. Since doing this I never experience a lost saved game.

Thanks for the help, guys. Having a bogus captain seems to have done the trick. In fact, I can save the game even when submerged! In any case, it's a weird bug, huh?
Cheers, __razz
