Loss of radar after refit!

I returned to port in November 1943 in my Salmon class sub, and was notified that my sub got a new conning tower during the refit. I noted that I had lost my deck gun upgrade, AA upgrade, air radar, and surface radar (all of which I had previously). As such, I repurchased them.

But when I set out to sea, the upgrades aren't there (at least the radar isn't). I just had these on this same ship!

Is this a known bug?

All of this depends on the default equipment for the submarine at the time the boat is upgraded. Annoying? Yes. Bug? No.

umm yeah it's annoying...how do you fix this? i recently started a thread to find a resolution to this, because the only thing i can do now is go out with no SJ radar. How do i get the SJ radar back? happened with me on a salmon class as well, just like the first poster said.

Is thiere any more on this topic? I just finished my patrol and was given the new conning tower on my Gato and the SJ radar I paid for on my last patrol is no longer an option. Why would I loss it just because of a refit and why would it at least still not be an option? Runing TMO 1.9 with no other significant mod.

Happened to me also. Running TMO and RSRDC at the time. jgbishop is your game modded or stock? The reason I ask is that I swapped over to RFB hoping to avoid this problem again.
Luke, could you tell us more about this??
