Ok, could someone explain to me exactly how the date file in SH3 Commander works?

I am using my JFO! Mod, and it is not loading in the correct orders templates based on the current date.

I started a patrol on 25 Aug 39. The templates that were loaded originally, were from 1 Aug 39, which is correct.

However, my current patrol date is 5 Sep 39. My most recent entry prior to that date is for 4 Sep 39, and it should place a prize rules template in from that date. However, it is not doing that, it is still loading the file from 1 Aug 39.

Is my understanding correct here, or am I misreading how SH3 Commander works? I've read the manual, and the way it is written, it is unclear if this is specifically what happens, but does anyone know for sure? I have searched all through the forums for a specific explanation, but I can't seem to find anything that states it explicitly.

Any advice?

What does the folder path look like? It needs to have all the correct folders inside to lead to where it should be in the game.

I have sets of skins in my Date folder, and the path looks like this: Date/19400201/data/sea/all the individual folders for the ship skins.

Or Date/19410603/gramaphone/radio for certain speeches to play at the right time.

The folder pathing is correct. There is no difference in the folder path between the two entries, i.e. they are both data/Menu/OLC/Prize.tga. The only difference is the date, 19390801 vs. 19390904.

Any other guesses?

I also just tested it by creating a bogus file under 19390904/data/Menu/OLC/Blech.tga, and it is not writing it anywhere into the SH3 installation.
