Default GWX3.0 Additional Ammo

Additional Ammunition for the U-boats weapons platforms (It is documented that Luth once carried 377 10.5cm shells on a patrol).

From the Readme:

Enable via JSGME

GWX3.0 Additional Ammo.
Firstly, this mod is NOT supported by the GWX Dev team, so you use it at your own risk.
If you're having problems please direct them my way on Subsim (jimbuna).
This mod gives you the following ammo levels (dependant on weapons platform).
8.8cm.....250 shells
10.5cm....250 shells
37mm......3000 shells
20mm......3000 shells

My guess is that would, it depend if they were on some special mission?

This is the second mod you,ve just done that sounds bizarre! possibly & realisticly? the guns in any weather sounds plausible depending on the situation at the present moment in time! So Why not buddy? (maybe if the crew were very dfesperate and the sub was damaged beyond diving capabilities) sounds great to me just 1 problem i've always had is the fact that the destroyers tend to hang around far to long for me to be able to surface especially when your in the perverbial and need to emergency surface! What this mod needs is a release fake debris adding along side the decoys.....some clever modder may be able to do this! what to you think?

Interesting idea. I've made fast research of resources about stock of ammunition on u-boots and find this info:

Type VII
8,8 cm/45 SK C/35 gun - 250 rounds of ammunition (220 according to www.navweaps.com)
2 cm/65 C/30 & C/38 flak - 4380 rounds

Type IX
10,5 cm/45 SK C/32 gun - 180 rounds (or 110 on IX A-C and 150 on IXD according to uboat.net and www.navweaps.com infos)
3,7 cm/83 SK C/30 & 3,7 cm/69 M42 flak - 2625 rounds
2 cm - 4250 - 8500 rounds

I downloaded additional ammo mod for GWX3 to my desktop. Where do I need to put it so the program recognizes it and uses it? Where & how do I install it? Uncle Levi

Just install it with JSGME as explained in the Readme text file.

Alternatively, unpack and put the CFG file into your data\Cfg folder and overwrite your Basic Cfg when asked (back it up first).

It was a real practice carry extra load

i read time ago a book about British submarines, in the pacific, in one patrol they expected intense surface action and they carry extra load of oerlikon and deck gun ammo, stored in every place of the submarine.

( one of our submarines by edward young, commander of the HMS Storm "P233")

That could quite easily be done.
But it would be eye candy only.

And I like bizarre mods myself.
They break the monatany of everything.

Here's my current Monatany breaker.


Not realistic maybe but some of the effects should be pretty cool
in an eerie sort of way.

But it would be a lovle eye candy. I hope there is a moder with same extra time too make souch a candy. We all love candys, and plus it is a new year. I hope theat Santa is lessoning.

Does radar also work well with bad weather, with this mod?
I've seen that before i need to start it every time weather was bad, now work always fine ^_^

I t is completely unrelated/unconnected to the radar files....I think what some have experienced in the past will be the radar shutting down when the conning tower is submerged periodically during rough weather....the game engine thinks momentarily that the boat is submerged.
