This forum is always reliable for a source of entertainment with how quickly threads are thrown off-topic and throroughly reduced to petty squabbling and a continuously recycled list of colorful adjectives, descriptions and labels for eachother. Somehow level-headed (albeit heated) debates have completely dissapeared from both sensitive and important topics lately.

But please, by all means continue to make absolute fools of yourselves and accomplish nothing but to further your already slanted and biased views of "the other side" whomever or whatever they/it may be.

Provided I find the time I'll be waiting for anyone that desires an intelligent and understanding exchange of concepts and ideals.

Since this thread has wandered so far off track I thought I'd try to lend an ounce of sense to it.

Guns in the hands of babes.. bad idea.

Automatic wepons in the hands of babes.... unthinkable.

Never saw it, i'm not a Johnny Depp fan. Hero worship of entertainers is so,... "teenagerish" don't you think?
No, actually. I dont mind someone worshippinh their heroes.(was that spelled correctly? I'm sure you gonna get to my grammar next.) And if you think that I worship someone by having him in my signature pic & avatar at an internet forum, maybe you should take a bit of a break from the internet? You know, I do have a real life too. And like I said, the sig & ava just resembles my music taste, nothing more.

FWIW my avatar is a picture of me, although longer ago than i'd like to remember. Probably when you were wearing "grandma kicker" baby shoes...
I gathered as much. So, does this mean you worship yourself? Like you said I worship the one in my ava & sig despite obviously not reading what I said in my last post. And again, I must ask, what the dong this gotta do with this thread?

EDIT: Ow, and I like how you sneaked in the age issue in the last quote of yours. Real classy of you. You've passed 2 out of 3 "I'm an idiot at internet forums" tests. Let's see if you pass the third one and become the official twut.

Right, what we need here is closure.

Point 1. In all fairness, the Ford Thunderchicken (I think that's what the first white care was) had it coming to it. It's a pile of crrrrap! It deserves worse than death by the hand of a toddler. Perhaps a 5 megaton scat bomb with a donkey dung warhead.

Point 2. I like guns, but seeing a 6 year old firing a full auto machinegun is disturbing. However, I'm not sure what's worse. That, or seeing uncle Dirtyfinger there showing her the ropes. Weird.

Point 3. Dowly, regarding Slipknot. Their self-titled CD was solid, but they have become rather passe since then. If you want to become a real musical progressive among your peers, pick up some ohGr CDs. (Devils in my Details just came out) This is the side project of the lead singer of Skinny Puppy, and it is fantastic. A delight to the ears of Europeans and Americans alike. Finally, some consensus.

The self-titled & Iowa are the two I like. The 2 newest have been commercial crap. I do listen to alot of metal bands, nothing rare, but I'm open to anything. As long as it's aggressive and doesnt have that 'Linkin Park' vocals to it like alot of bands seem to have nowadays.

Dowly,
Good analysis. I have to throw Mudvayne into that, as well. LD50 was phenomenal and still receives regular play in my car. After they acheived success, however, they lost their edge, made their style more commercially palatable, and rendered themselves irrelevant. Not much new material is worth mention. Except for ohGr, of course.

August, nobody needs to judge you by the clothes you wear or the music you listen to, your endless bitter dribble is more than enough info.

Actually, it's the 3 rules of an "be an idiot in internet". Make a personal insult, insult someone's grammar and insult them because of their age. Whoops, now that I think of it, you've done all three!

I still havent gotten an answer, how my sig or avatar can possibly make any difference to this thread? Or my music taste, or what I wear?

You're the one with the "granny kicker" boots as you called them not me. Is that what your rock star idol calls them?
