Default Patch 1.5?

Well I stepped away from the game for a while, but have since returned to terrorize the IJN and her merchant marine supporters after having to leave friends in Manila at the start of the war.
Now, I won't be able to do this until finishing my next patrol, but, has Patch 1.5 come out yet? My google-fu is not strong, and I have only read sputterings of comments on it, here and elsewhere.
Where can I download it?
Is it worth it?
Is it more stable?
What are the notes for it?

Sorry for doing what some night be considered a newb posting.

1.5 is the U Boat add-on. It cost $10. I have never played the U Boat side but the upgrade is worth it. Most of the mods are 1.5 now anyway.

As people say, the 1.5 patch is a "PPP" (Pay Per Patch) and it's the U-Boat missions and cost 10$ (US) or 9'95€ (EU).

I agree with some of the posters above. I have never even booted up the U-Boat, but the patch adds a few more features, fixes a few minor issues and I highly suggest it AND as stated above, most patches now are for 1.5, so if you wish to play into the future, get it, I don't think you'll reget it. Hey, I just made a ryhme!

Bought the 1.5 but haven't ever installed it. If it has some perks to it I guess I need to soon.

There are so many wrong facts here I dont know where to begin.

But no german boats is NOT all you get.

Probably the main reason is to get all the up to date patches and to be 'up to date' for all the mods.

The U-boats are there if you want to play with them.

Yes the game was realeased with flaws, what game is not, still the dev's released 4 patches fixing most of the glaring issues promptly.

1.5 at 10 bucks is a good deal by todays standards.

SH2 ... yea I have that too, havent opened it in 4 years.

I havent played SH 4 since the very last patch they released STILL makes your sub look and act like its at Disney Land riding on a rail, even if rough seas. Totally ruins the immersion factor for me. I also still have the bug of getting the same patrols assigned over and over and over.....

GWX is the only thing that has kept me coming back to play as a submariner. I would love to play as a US subcommander, but SH4 for me is still broke. At least the talented GWX team salvaged SH3.

If SH5 is as much as a disappointment as SH4 was, then I will be playing GWX for many more years to come.

As far as the sub on rails, there are mods to address that and more is being done now.
The reason you are getting repeat missions is your not completing your objectives.
The GWX team is very talented. So is the RFB team. They have made SH4 a much better game and they continue to improve it. SH4 is very different than SH3 and each individual has different likes but for me, SH4 with RFB is on a different level.

The 1.5 add-on does fix the repeat missions. A friend had 1.4 and was complaining about his repeat missions. I recommended he buy the 1.5 add-on and that fixed it for him.

I don't play the U-Boat side either but I have noticed numerous improvements to the US boats - Pacific Theatre.

The 1.5 add-on is sure worth it IMO - and I have put a lot of hours into patrolling in SH4.

Happy Hunting!

OK, I went to the link provided by Ubisoft.
And it list it as 9.99GBP. That's about 20USD. IS this correct?!?
