Problem with GWX and 1.4 patch
I have a small problem.. I can install Vanilla SHIII, get the disc protection to work and patch up to 1.4
However, GWX wont install as it says I have not patched up to 1.4 I wondered if this was a Vista or othersuch issue, and if there was a fix.. I so want to play GWX 2.0!

Is it a new copy? If so, it should already be patched, and adding the patch again may be causing the problem. Though, if that's the case, it shouldn't accept the patch at all. Other than that I don't know what to say.

I believe you have a Vista issue. I use XP so I am not sure but, I think the GWX manual has a section on installing using Vista.

If you have Vista SH III should be installed to a location other than Program Files. You may want to turn off UAC too as that can cause some problems as well. Check this site for Vista installation FAQ's: http://thegreywolves.com/.
