Your luck runs high my friend. I typically have at least 1 in 3 just doink off the hull. Had one run with 6 duds in a row, all 'good' shots.

Typically I will fire at least two torpedoes at a ship, 3 if its high value, just in case.

I dont know if RFB messes with failure rates or not but thats my experience.

Oh yes, RFB tweaks the dud rates. I can garantee that a Mark 14 actually detonating when set to high speed and a 90deg impact angle is nothing short of a miracle. Actually, you haver a better chance of seeing a genuine miracle.

I typically aim for impact angle between 40 and 50deg, using the slow speed setting if possible, impact trigger only and still get a fair amount of duds. I fire at least 3 fish, 4 for larger targets.
