I just receive a suddent death for no reason.
I was trying to intercept a contact on the map. When I went there the merchant ship in question is neutral, so I move on my merry way. Press up the TC to the max, then all in a sudden I see the end game screen saying that I was killed by heavy flooding. I have no clue what happened. SH3 later crash as seconds after I click on the abandon career option. I played DiD; but I give myself a pass this time beucause I think I just killed by a bug. Happened to you before? |

Usually it's because you ran aground on something that wasn't quite visable from the zoomed out map or because you ran into a ship or something you didn't see.
I usually reload a saved game in those cases too. |

I thought if I run into anything it would immediately re-adjust the TC to a lower setting. That never happened. Or it is a design flaw.

Where were you? It could have been a mine. That's my biggest complaint about the game, that it won't tell you why you died when that happens.
