Well, I have no idea, which is why I didn't post.

There are references to emblems in the flotilla config files, but they all point to directory paths that don't exist. flotilla.cfg has a pointer to a non-existant flotilla emblem for each flotilla that seems to imply that each flotilla gets its own emblem, if only the image file for it existed. There is also reference to emblem position in the conning tower files, which is related to the 2D view in the damage control type screen.

I would have liked to have checked this, seen if I could get a result, but as it happens, I haven't had time to do any research, but I can't quite work out if 'the community' is being criticised...

So, there you go, unfinished investigations I wouldn't normally post.

Oh, when I read what csengoi put, I thought there was an extra word there and it changed the meaning to something ambiguous
