Two questions.
First, is the gold edition worth getting. Second, the problem with Silent Hunter 3 was crew management. Frankly, I was not a fan of constantly moving the crew around. Does the gold edition solve this problem? |

I think you'd better post this in the SHIV or SHIV ATO forum.
P.S. Welcome aboard.

WELCOME ABOARD!
SH4 has a completely different crew management system, complete with assigned watch-rotation bills. They take care of themselves. If you use SH3 Commander you can select 'No Fatigue' as an option. The Gold edition is SH4 plus the U-boat add-on in one package. I would say it's definitely worth getting. Beyond that, GE is right: there are four whole forums devoted to SH4, and a lot of folks who have played it for awhile who would be glad to show you around it.

SH4 is pretty so make sure your system
can handle it. SH3 is ugly but it puts out.

If you use GWX 2 and SH3 Commander it allows you to use a no
fatige (sp) switch where you don't have to move your crew. |
