The "Enhanced Damage Effects" mod in GWX2...

Started a new carreer in a Type2a...I'm on my 4th patrol...late 1939. Anyway, single coastal merchant right on my path...sea is perfectly calm and a rare daylight attack is in order. One torpedo left so I decide to go for all or nothing and set it on Magnetic pistol. Torp detonates near the bow but merc keeps on going oblivious...but you can tell she's quickly gaining water. So, as she goes down an almighty blast and the crew are ejected into the sea.

The bridge blows off and the crew in the bridge are ejected...LOL. I know it may not be a new thing to many here...but it's the first time I saw it happening...because I don't play with many mods because my machine is slow.

Whoever invented that mod...I just want to say: you sick sick person. I love it!!...lol...also the special effects are amazing...even for my machine. So if anyone was in two minds whether to use it...I would definitely recommend it.

There is a further improvement with two survivors paddling with oars and one hanging onto the side whilst in the water.

Thanks Jimbuna...excellent I'm going to download it now and use it...love to see the crew abandon ship. Thought this was only available for SH4...never knew there was a mod.

Ahhhh.... Lifeboats&Debris mod.... Talk about "Enhanced Damage"!

I will give you the shiver down the spine...

with all the SCREAMS and YELLS of the surviving crews

of all the ships you torpedoed....

Their screams haunt me....

it's a copy of a mod that I had made (SH4 effect for SH3). Since mine was based on SH4 material 'they' decided to copy it. I'm not sure how to take it.....The point is original ideas (most of them) were created by myself and copied in theirs. Alas why I now mod for myself.

Edit by Neal Stevens: 'they' decided to copy it. I do not know if this claim is accurate or not but the nature of the claim is the kind that starts flame wars. Posting it in this fashion can only be viewed as intentionally provacative. Not allowed.
