Default slow jerky mouse again....

When I start up the game my mouse pointer becomes slightly delayed but not nearly enough to effect funtionality, and when i go through the menus it behaves the same way. When I start actuall gameplay the mouse becomes much more slow and jerky almost like it has a very low fps. It is not too bad at stations without 3D rendering like the navigation station, but it becomes worse at 3d stations like the bridge. I have set the video settings to low, which helps a bit, and have turned vertical sync on because it has fixed this problem for other people. While this helps, the mouse is still quite slow and is affecting gameplay.

My Computer:

HP Pavillion dv9700t notebook

Windows Vista Home Premium - 64-bit

17" LCD - 1680x1050

Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 (2.4 ghz dual-core)

4.0 gb 667mhz RAM

Nvidia GeForce 8600m GS - 512mb

two 120gb 7,200 rpm hitachti HD's

This computer it up to date and has all up to date drivers. (tried re-installing drivers and that didn't help) It is only 2 months old and most of the selections were the top available from HP's website. In my opinion this computer should be able to handle SH4 fine. I don't have any idea whats causing this.
