Do you recognise this u-boat commander?
The other day I was watching the World at War episode that covered the war in the atlantic. I recognised many well known u-boat commanders but this one I'm not sure of. He must have been a successful commander as he has just been awarded the Knights Cross. It may be the beard that has made him not easily recognisable or it might be my limited knowledge of the subject
