As DJ Funk already hinted to, IUF is not a mod but an independent project. And sure as hell it is still around. However I have decided to retreat from the public till the proof of concept is complete.

But I hope you are aware that this one is going to take a while. But it might be worth waiting for it. The radically different approach will bring a lot of fresh new wind into the naval gaming. We are very excited about the recent improvements it's realy realy different from anything you have seen so far.

Do you like WWI that much, or what excites you about it ?

Glad to hear this is still alive as well. I prefer the older naval models for the look and the old tech. Radar and such just make hunting too easy for my taste.

Yes I also love the old look of the ships, the u-boats with their very distinctive tower shapes and radio masts, the diversity in designs and I love the whole look of the WWI environement. Also the old tech and old designs bring its very own challenges and fresh new gaming experience.

Without radars and stuff you are more affected by weather. Navigation alone can be very interesting.
