Default Is it just me?

Or is anyone else having trouble connecting to Ubisoft for multiplayer. I've checked all possible situations with my connection and all is ok. I can connect to the web just fine as evident by this post. I played an on-line session last night and all was fine.

Is Ubisoft down at the moment:hmm: or does anybody know what the problem might be?

Sincerely,

Sincerely,
Your not the only one with this problem.

I haven't been able to connect in two days.

I have a thread "Playing on-line?" that is just about this.

Hi Sandman,

Were you connected before? Do you have all the correct ports open through your router/firewall?

I believe the correct ports are TCP 17997-18003 and UDP 17997-18003

I got this info from Ubi.com so you can double check there.

Sincerely,

My prob was I was running three firewalls. two Mcafee's and one that came with Win-XP. I had two of the three disabled and one was sneaking by.

Disabled all three and there has been no problem since.

Thanks.

God Bless

Till all are one.

It's not a good idea to run without a firewall up. If you use Windows XP firewall you can allow SH3 to operate by putting it in EXCEPTIONS. I'm not familiar with Mcafee, however, there should be similar settings to allow certain programs to run through it. My firewall is through my router and I just had to set up the ports for SH3 and all runs well.

Note: Don't use Windows XP firewall if you have another firewall available as XP's is not the greatest.

Sincerely,
