Question Sub won't sink!

I've been trying to have a surfaced AI sub sink in a custom mission by having it bombed by aircraft. However, after taking some serious damage (lower half the aft part gone) the sub still floats. What gives?

Got me! Made of cork? Perhaps the sub does not have a hit point system like the other vessels?

I did, it sank just fine.

Made me feel guilty though, what with my past SH3 experiences

I was trying to simulate the sinking of the USS- Sealion in Cavite in 1941. The enemy planes sent 6x800lb bombs and 5 hit it hard. Damn thing showing big chucks missing still bloody floating.

What da hell kinda Arcade game is this? Duuuuuucimuus!!!!!!

The AI Jap sub doesn't sink...I put six torps into one. First one blew the aircraft off the sub's deck, but that was all the damage shown. It doesn't sail, either...just sits...apparently only meant to be sitting in a harbor at a dock somewhere.

It's a shame.

Pathetic when a sub can't go underwater.
