I just got a call from Neal, asking me to post this.

He has three rooms confirmed at the Hilton: One is for Chad, and one for his dad. The third is to be had for anyone who needs it bad.

He said he'll check the thread later on today in case someone is still in need of that room.

Thanks, Steve.

Yes, the University Hilton Hotel is very nice, and I got the student rate, $99 a night. Rooms are booked Thurs through Sunday.

Directions and info on the UH Hilton: http://www1.hilton.com/en_US/hi/hote...Texas/index.do

One room is for Chad and his dad

One room is for Mike (Hanomg) and wife

The other room is for FAdmiral.

These rooms have two queen size beds, so if FAdimarl wants to split the room costs with another member, contact him.

Neal

Hey guys.....

I put myself down as a tentative attendee pending work schedule.

I live here in South Houston about 30 minutes the Texas and about an hour from Cavalla, but I work in thehospital so I may be called in for duty.

If I'm around I have a car with seats....etc....etc.

Anyhoo...hope things work out okay....I didnt even realize that the Cavalla was open again.

Talking

Greetings Kaluens, from Nashville TN!

Took a stroll in downtown Nashville, was interesting. Ate at Joes crabshack was quite yummy.

U 765 has been averaging 30mpg at flank speed. Was stopped by allied patrol in Virginia (a Sgt. from some small county sheriffs office) I showed him my former NY polizei papers and he let me go with a warning. " I clocked you at 80mph 1 mph less than reckless, but Ill let you go with a verbal warning. Slow it down for us. Have a nice day." phew... avoided depth charging. I doubt Ill make the whole trip without something.... :hmm:

I will be arriving in Dallas on the evening of 10-7. will send another patrol report from there.

see you soon gang...
