I am now officially bummed...after saving all of the hard earned $$$, sweating the increasing gas prices...and all that stuff...

My company just informed me that I will be in travel status starting 10/7 and ending 11/22 with no rest inbetween. Seems like there is some training that has to be done and since I am the trainer...

I will be thinking of all of you though...

Would someone please climb to the top of the Texas and snap a pic for me? I was so looking forward to the hardhat tour...not to mention the hanging out on the desk of the sub with you guys...(I am somewhat claustrophobic and the last time I went into the sub I almost lost it...)

Ok, here are the rates for the BB Texas tour:
Regular guided: $10 (2 hour tour)
Hardhat tour: $40 (4 hour tour)

I've set up a poll, see this thread here for discussion, please.

Shooting practice- Bailey's Gun Range: $15 covers ammo and range fee

Lone Star Flight Museum; $8, $5 for seniors 65 and up

Tour Texas Seaport Museum, tall sailing ship Elissa $8

Cavlla Sub/DE Stewart Sleepover $20

Subsim Paintball war

Parties of 5-10 players can choose between the following rates:

$29.25 per person includes 200 paintballs.
$36.00 per person includes 500 paintballs.

Parties of 11 or more players can choose between the following rates:

$21.25 per person includes 200 paintballs.
$30.75 per person includes 500 paintballs.

We have two scheduled dinners. For other meals we can hit the Whataburger, Dairy Queen, Taco Bell, or Sonic, as people prefer.

Dinner – Tex-Mexican dinner at Casa Ole! or local Mexican restaurant; $10~17
Lunch - Seafood in Galveston $12~20
