Strange problem. My last three patrols and I have not seen a single ship or convoy. My patrol befor last was to the US coast from Brest and no sightings. I am now out of Lorent heading past the EC for the Irish coast and am not spotting. I have map update on and even at 1000 KM I show nothing. Whats wrong?????

Do you have any friendly harbor traffic when leaving your base?
One way to be sure, is sail into an enemy harbor that you know should be packed ..like maybe Scapa Flow, etc. I guess if there are no ships then you have a major issue and its not just bad luck. Also folks need to know what Version of SH3 you are using, or GWX and what mods as well. The in game date, base and type of Uboat you are using also seem to come into play. The more info you can give the easier it is for the the expert folks, ( of which I AM NOT ONE ) that patrol these forums, to help you.

Yup, knowing what version you have, might help suggest something

What optional mods are enabled?
If you have the Indian ocean enabled or the Black sea? Those remove other areas I think. I don't do the campaign stuff so I'm not sure.

@Privateer, There are two ways you can enable Indian Ocean and Black Sea campaigns. One will lose the traffic elsewhere the other gives you traffic everywhere.
First one is to eneable the standalone Indian Ocean or Black Seal Campaign files. Doing this replaces the default GWX2.0 campaign files with ones for the theatre you selected when you enabled the mod. The other method is to enable the integrated campaign which replaces the default campaign files with files that have all three theatres included. So if you sail out of a Black Sea port without enabling either the Black Sea or Integrated campaigns, then you will see no traffic in that theatre unless you transit the bosphorous and head into the Med or Atlantic. If you enable either Indian Ocean or Black Sea campaigns, then start a career in an Atlantic port you will see not traffic unless you transit to the theatre you enabled. Safest way if your PC can handle it and you don't mind waiting is to enable the Integrated Campaigns mod that gives you the option to start from anywhere.
