Default Sugar Boats and TDC

If it's true that the majority of the S boats did not have TDC, what method of firing do you use?

You might start here to do it the way they really did:
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=106923

Also there is some evidence that even the early fleet boats didn't have a TBT until 1943, or even 1944:

(note that 'Torpex752' is the same Frank Kulik who wrote the Valor At Sea article, and also one of the very first SubSim members)

I wrote a tutorial to explain how to quickly calculate the deflection angle with the SACF, but it can also be done with any slide ruler that has a Sine scale You can get it here: http://files.filefront.com/No+TDC+Tu.../fileinfo.html
