I have a new computer and regretably it has vista home premium
..My problem is i have no idea how to make it accept mods ..So iam humbly asking for lots of help in making changes to SH4..In advance gentlemen thank you..

No problems here with Vista & SH4. Im guessing your getting that stupid Need your permission prompts (UAC) before you install a mod? Although you shouldn't even get them if your using JSGM.

If it's giving you to much grief. Re-install to anywhere but /Program files.
The extra layer of security "File virtualization" ,or whatever, for that directory is the source of your grief. Publishers really need to wake up and stop pointing game default installations here. |

No problem with vista. Turn off the UAC as described, and install the game with its default path, mods included using JSGM. It works fine.
