Hi,
Sometimes i get this strange problem with the deck gun if i change ammo (from high explosive to armor piercing or vice versa). The deck gun does'nt work anymore then... If i change ammo again the problem remains. The only solution so far is to quit the game and reload it. Some bug, or am i the only one? Regards, fvd |

This is a new one on me. I know you have been looking into the files. Perhaps you changed something that created this problem?

Hi AVGWarhawk,
No, don't think so. Only changed the torpedo settings. No file of the deck gun was changed... regards, fvd |

Very odd. I have not experienced this problem. Anyone else?

What he dident mention is that with crew firing the gun or manning the gun himself ? If it is the crew well... do you have crew there ? |

If I understand right... Fire the gun, change ammo, gun doesn't fire (even after the reload time bar is filled...
Never seen that one. Maybe the torp stuff has a linked effect on the gun? Worth reverting to find out. -Pv- |

Well, it was me handling the gun.
But if i order the crew to man the gun and attack the target the gun does'nt fire either. So i guess "my men" experience the same problem Well, if it's only me it could have something to do with a changed file after all. If i find the reason i'll let you know! fvd |

If I remember well I got that problem once.
I was aiming a boat and I had to change my ammo, (I was running out explosive ones). I removed my two guys from the deck, then I selected a view like free view for instance but not the view of the machine gun, and I ordered the guys to come back to deck gun => my gun was relaoded and able to fire after that... I hope my description is understandable, if not ask me Raifg |

Yes if you vacate the slots in the deck gun they do not automatically re-fill when you call for a deck gun attack.
