Default GWX Type IID

This may have been asked before, but I recently upgraded to a Type IID from my Type IIA in my new career. After I plotted my course to my patrol grid and set speed for ahead 1/3 I asked the Navigator what my range was at the current speed. Much to my surprise he said 14000KM! Is this a GWX or SH3 bug....or an intended feature to overcome some other shortcoming. I find it hard to believe that a type IID has a longer range than an IX boat.

try to wait a bit before you ask for current range at that speed
then he wont say 14000 anymore
it will be greatly reduced

You set that IID to run at 6 knots, then see the distance it can traverse!

Wink

SH3 manual states that a IID can go as far as 3450nm in 12knots. 1/3 of 12 is 4. In the game ahead 1/3 i think is 3 knots. So, 3 or 4 x 3450 = 10350 to 13800nm.
