Dual Core AMD

I just uped to a 4400 x2 from a 3700+ an added the AMD drivers, AMD Optimiser with the M$ dual core fix an everything works fine, but wondering if any dual core users use these two programs to alter the affinity

don't need a proggie to set affinity. just run taskman then processes tab and right click sh4.exe, then set the affinity

May i mention it's really useless to make SH4 run on only one core when you have an AMD dual core with the fix (dual core optimizer, microsoft hotfix) installed ?

I don't know for Intel processor, but the AMD run very good with any game, even if not multi-threading friendly ..

In fact, i know only one program who dosn't want to run ok : Regcleaner, but it's an old one.

I use an Intel dual core with no problems. Did not set affinitys or anything of that sort.

Facts are any single threaded directx title will spawn multiple threads for directx and WDM, along with more threads for sound. Vista with the hotfixes has the windows server 2008 kernel features that does a far better job automatically than manually setting single process affinity.
