Some games in the USVN in the near future.

Hi,

just wanted to let everybody know that the USVN is in the process of doing their own story driven little campaign involving a number of different games and missions, one of them of course DW (other games are : GR, (AA), ArmA, Janes FA-18, Falcon F4AF, FS9 & FSX). If you want to play along and participate, please contact me via PM or Instant Messenger for details. You don't have to be part of the USVN or join up for this, all you have to do is spend some time playing DW (or one of the other games). There will be opportunity both for Online and Offline play, tho don't expect huge MP battles (that is Human vs Human) because thats not in the story (of this campaign - might change with the next one).

If you are really interested, then you should register at the forum to stay on top of any developments and being able to use the features that help in organizing and conducting this campaign (like the calendar).

Timewise this campaign will be a short one, approx. one month (or a tad more) with a small number of missions each week and as I said its mainly bout COOP against the AI.

I have not seen a Application from you ... I suppose you registered at the USVN Board? If so follow this link : http://www.usvn.net/board/newthread.php?do=join_form .

I just checked an apparently you are still in the "Waiting on EMail confirmation status" means you have to click the link in the email that was send to the adress you gave when you registered at the board. Once your EMail is confirmed you should be able to use the Join App and thus join the USVN.

If you just wanna play without actually joining the USVN ... let me know.

Do I need to join the USVN Boards? Or the "fleet" itself?

Just register at the USVN Board ... however no one prohibits you from joining the USVN itself ...

At the risk of seeming a bit dense, I have registered at the forum, viewed the "Warning Orders", and even took a look at the Calendar, which seems to be the place where stuff is planned.

I guess my question is how does a DW player one who is not a full-fledged fleet member just "jump in" and get involved? When is the next DW scenario?

I cant say at the moment when the next DW scenario will be (currently planning and building it) but it will be posted on the calendar and all you have to do is sign up in the appropriate post once the OpOrders are posted (and of course show up).
