Default Aircraft fix in the works?

I think I'm really enjoying the game for the first time since 1.3. But the incessent and unrealistic aircraft behavior is still making it super hard to play. I've read quite a few patrol logs for research and in none of them do they mention carrier fighters flying in from the same direction and turning around every 10 minutes. And definitely not dropping 3 or 4 large bombs in one run, turning around and dropping another 3-4. I think in one mission I shot down over 25 fighters. Is this something that can be re-worked at all?

Try looking for such a fix in the SH4 Mods Workshop forum.

Nope I'm not seeing anything in there about Aircraft AI.

Go download the Trigger Maru 1.3 mod in the mod workshop. It is the first sticky at the top of the page. The newest mod is posted in post #34. Unzip it to your desktop and go into the data folder. Go into the cfg folder and get the airstrike.cfg file and replace your in-game airstrike.cfg file with the file from the mod. You will then have much less airplane trouble but enough to still be realistic. And you still can't run on the surface during the daylight which is the way it should be.

hope that helps,
Rick
