Search Area

I have just installed GWX and am having difficulty with some grid areas. I am sailing out of Penang and my grid search area is 0.Afrika. Can anone tell me where this is please, I also get the same type of grid area when I sail the Black Sea(Ost).Any help appreciated thanks.

While you're playing GWX press F1 and go through the Flotilla News. In there you will find all the info about the different non-stock areas. Also don't forget that because these areas are not in the stock game you will not get any renown for patroling them. For more information have a look through the manual. It explains everything.

I haven't done Penang. In German Ost means east, so Ost Afrika would mean East Africa.

Your assigned patrol area is 'readable' from your navigation map (just zoom in a little)
