Default Question about the "late War Sensor -mod"

As a newbie with GWX I stumbled on the issue of using the optional "Late War sensor" mod delivered together with the GWX-package.

It works for both type VIIC, VIIC/41 and all versions of IXC & D.

What it does is installing an extra RW antenna on top of Schnorchel Head like this scetch;

(Uboot.net)

A few boats are thought to have been equipped with it according to various sources.

To the point;

I just found out (by sailing ) that the XXI boat does not get this mod implemented.

Q: Is this deliberate or just "forgotten" during development?:hmm:

Cheers

/Per

Happy GWX user

You are incorrect sir. It does indeed function on the Type XXI. Please refer to page 37 of your GWX manual and read on. All is explained there, and on the pages that follow.

For it to function correctly on ANY U-boat that uses a snorkel, you must enable an optional mod that comes with your copy of GWX.

Read that part now. I also see why I can't get the FuMB-3 "Bali" on the XXI as early as December.... .

Thanks for the enlightment.

Aye. No worries mate. I'm just glad we have such a nice manual thanks to Pablo.

I just hope I can print it out one day. Having a hardcopy of the final version would be perfection.

.....or not so lucky.

How much additional content is there? How many pages does that equate to?
