Problem with 10th Flotilla in GWX

I've been playing the GWX 10th Flotilla scenerio. I am now on my third sorte out of Penang April 2, 1944. When I start the sorte, it opens up in the sub pen with a sunken merchant ship on top of it. I have tried to back up, turn, to no avail. I have also tried to transfer to another flotilla prior to starting the scenerio and I get denied. Is there some way around this? Or am I going to have to back up in time and not transfer to the tenth flotilla?

Any help would be great.

This problem is fixed in GWX v1.03

The problem was fixed in the Dec update - just after initial release - and is in all patches since

If you install 1.03 now your career probably wont work

You have 2 choices
One is start a patrol and then just dock and end patrol - that should allow you to transfer ( 3 patrols before transfer allowed )
or
Open up the mission editor and delete the merchant in the way

Make a back up of the campaign_scr.mis first in case it CTD on career
Rollback SH3commander first if you use it
