It's called aliasing, and it's the same effect that makes tires appear to be spinning backwards in car commercials.

The big giveaway is the soundtrack - assuming it's the real soundtrack - you can clearly hear the characterisic thumping noise of a main rotor (caused by the air compressing in front of a rotating blade).

Still it's pretty freaky all the same.
