Exclamation [REL]Improved Bow Wave Kit 1.0

IMPROVED BOW WAVE KIT 1.0
MADE BY CAPTAIN COX

This mod improves the visual graphics of the
front bow wave and also the rear screws water jet.

I tweaked the lightness/darkness and also made the water particles look smaller,
more spray like as i thought the stock was to white and also to heavy looking.

PS @Beery, I could tweak it even darker if you want, but this is a more run of the mill release.

STOCK

Comes in four different variations as i am sure some people will
like one more then the other.

- IMPROVED BOW WAVE NORMAL

- IMPROVED BOW WAVE DARKER

- IMPROVED BOW WAVE TRANSPARENT (this is my favourite)

- IMPROVED BOW WAVE TRANSPARENT LIGHT

As these are animated textures its not easy to capture in pictures, I recommend to check in game for a better impression!

This is meant to be the first stage (1.0) as there is also other things that should be tweaked,
such as the water breaking the conning tower/bow when surfacing/diving, torpedo impact water plumes
that looks to white and solid in the stock game at the moment. But I will tackle that in a 1.1-1.2
maybe.

I would recommend to use these with the Bow-Conning Tower KIT 1.0

Cheers guys!
@Beery, did some patrolling career mode and I can only recommend " IMPROVED BOW WAVE TRANSPARENT" don't look to bright at night but also not to dark (considering that bow waves do tend to look brightish).

No, which makes it all the worse. When I finally get to play anything again I'll have even more decisions!:rotfl:

Don't get me wrong; I've been posting "complaints" of this kind ever since I got my first SH3 mods. Actually I'm going crazy not being able to play, and the bow waves look great.

Great stuff. I'll take a look at them in-game. I'll probably go for the dark transparent one for RFB. One thing I'm looking to achieve is a bow wave that doesn't look too bright at night, so I may ask for a darker version if you could - but I'll check it out first - this might work fine.

Fantastic work!

I went with the non-transparent darker looking one. It works great at night - no more fluorescent waves on moonless nights.
