how do i upack the extra stuff that i get on my sub like the extra AA guns or senors

It says upack, not unpack. Upack stands for upgrade pack which is what radar and guns are.

You have to be at base in the upgread screen and if new parts are available then just drag and drop the new stuff to the corespondind slot on your sub.
