A question about pictures in threads

Hey folks, I was just wondering why some pictures dont show up for me on some threads? I dont even get the little red 'x' box, its just a gap where the pictures should be. No matter how long I leave it to load they dont come up - I noticed it just now on ASWNuts thread about his ankle. Any ideas?

Oh, and can I just say, as a regular on the General Topics forum, well done to all the moderators here on Subsim, you guys really hold this place together

Interesting. I sometimes have gaps, and no red X, but they always show up sooner or later; usually while I'm trying to read something...jump, jump, jump!
