You can't get rid of them. AA & AF is NOT supported.

There has been talk of this being corrected in a later patch but for now you're stuck with it.

It shouldn't make a blind bit of difference whether it's on of off. SH4 does not recognise it.

For info: the devs have said they will try and enable resolutions above 1024x768 and FSAA in the next, 1.2, patch. Their original decision to disable these features is baffling - and about the reasons for it they are strangely silent.

Cheers,

RD.

Turn on AA and AF and depending on your system watch the FPS drop by 25% to 50%. For folks who have all the fancy bells and whistles turned on now turning on AA would kill the FPS even on a very high powered system.

For me anything over 20 FPS is good - I can't tell the difference between that and 40 - but that's just me. Lots of people can and dropping FPS down into the 20's or even teens on systems would generate some real complaints I imagine.

Haha, I have G71 (7900GT)... Even if I lose 50% on 1920x1200 (which I doubt) its totaly OK! Now I have 60. This is all my monitor can handle

Try SH3 in 1600x1200 with 4x 4x -> Runs smooth as silk and beautiful!

Its 2007! Give people the choice in Resolution. Not everyone is running 1024x768!

Chosing Resolution does not ORDER you to use more than today. It gives you the choice...

The jaggies are not a bug, they're a feature!

More resolution can be too hardware demanding but perhaps high end cards can handle this

i´m in sh3 with 15 fps outside and 10 fps with external camera and is perfectly playable

Jaggies help cut through sub nets. Helps you sneak into ports better.
