SH4 ending mission

OK Im guessing that this may have been asked before but how do you end missions in career mode.
I did my first one last night ( crash free ) and had to drop a raft off . Ran into a task force on the way up and sent a few to the bottom. I even sailed back to port not getting too close but could not work out how to end the mission .
BTW off topic , I was running Vista Ultimate before and had nothing but crash after crash through the missions , so I reinstalled XP and SH4 runs 10 times better .
Also is there a search function for these forums ? sorry Im new here !!
