Help with radar and sonar much appreciated.

Hey all,

I cannot get the radar or the sonar stations to function properly. The radar will not turn on when on the surface. I have tried using the home and end keys to turn it on as well as the selector buttons and the on/off switch. Nothing shows on the radar screen. Also, the sonar does not produce any sounds or propeller noise even though enemy ships are within 500 to 1,000 feet from my sub. When I ask the sonar man to track nearest targets all I get is "No sound contact on bearing...." Does anyone else have this problem or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any and all imput.
