Default Can't see with AA gun

Alright, I'm at a loss... my rear mounted AA gun is basically... impossible to see with. For a broad range of elevation, the conning tower wall behind the gun is between my camera view and the gun... so i can't aim. if I aim high or low enough, it goes away... but conveniently, at the angles i need to attack planes, I can't see squat.

Any thoughts? Anyone else have this problem?

I'm basically stuck relying on my crew to man the AA guns...

This is a well-known and well-documented screw-up. Note the distinction; Bugs are unforeseen errors in programming. This is a travesty of testing, or the lack thereof.

I am not sure. I am at work right now but I know on the Deck Gun that I can right click to go into a binocular or zoom view. I am not sure if this works the same in AA mode.

We are talking about the AA gun, on the Gar & Tambor class boats, if not others. Zoom mode has no effect, other than to move your view closer to the conning tower panels.

Be more aggressive!

If you do well in a patrol you can get different things. I got a cut away conning tower for my Gar class sub, and now the wall around the Flak gun is no more. Now where are those survivors

Yup I had this problem also. When I switched to the twin 20mm I couldn't see anything port or starboard. I was awarded a cut away conning tower after my first patrol with a Gar class boat. All that's left is a rail around the 20 mm mount.

that's a bit...annoying. I'm on my 4th patrol. Patrol 3 got me an upgrade from the Salmon to a Gato... maybe this patrol will earn me a decent conning tower.

*shakes his fist*

As for boats I've had this trouble on... My first three pats were in a salmon, same problem. Now I'm in a Gato with the same issue. Truth be told, I can't visually distinguish one boat from the other.
