.....saving a game you have created with the Editor? I don't mean initially saving it and then playing it,I mean playing it and then saving it to come back to.It always seemed completely straightforward with SHIII.

The game does seem to puke edited Save Files. But not ALL edited save files. Depends on what you change, I suppose.
What are you trying to edit? Most stuff can be set in the \Data\ folders before playing. |

Hello Schlageter-JG26.Just to sort of work my way quietly into the game I simply set up a course from San Francisco out into the Pacific trying various things as I went along,(diving, surfacing, that sort of thing).I then simply tried to save the game(easy enough in SHIII),to come back to it later but however I tried I couldn't.

I have created a mission game in the editor, played it, saved it and gone
back into the save and played it from there. To save it after playing, go to the (esc) key, click on save, name the save, click on save (sometimes more than once if it doesn't take), it goes back to the resume play or load screen. Check the load screen if you are unsure if it saved or not... JIM
