I found two undocumented views in commands.cfg called "command room free camera" and "conning tower free camera". There's also a "radio room free camera", but since that station is not included in the game it will unlikely work.
I wonder how to assign keys for those two views (I like paticularly the idea of a free conning tower view to roam freely along the deck). This is what I found in commands.cfg: [Cmd53] Name=Command_room_free_camera Ctxt=1 Key0=0x71,s,"" Page=0x33000000,3700 GoBack=Interior_fore_camera [Cmd54] Name=Radio_room_free_camera Ctxt=1 [Cmd55] Name=Conning_tower_free_camera Ctxt=1 |

Yes-they're the same that they were in SH3 (Shift+F2)
Just be careful NOT to move the camera (arrow keys) outside of the model.. You'll get a troublesome black screen/camera out of bounds.. |

Cool its nice to look around inside the compartments. Seems such a waste of detail otherwise.
I woudl of thought they'd implement fream roam with SH4.
