Pilot Rescue Question

Hello,

Ok, how do you rescue the pilots? I am next to a US pilot who is submerged btw and not floating, see him on the map surface in the middle of an air battle to pick him up and get nadda.

Any suggestions?

I was wondering the same thing. I don't know weather to rescue or kill enemy survivors. Ultimately I just leave them to drown or be rescued by AI because I don't know how to do it anyway.

Don't kill enemy survivors, you get arrested when you get back to port. i crushed a lifeboat with my sub and it counted as me killing them.

Get close to him and then put your binoc cross hairs on him. In the 'lookout' sections of controls there is an icon of a life perserver. Click it and he'll jump on board.

They don't have an animation of the pilot actually getting aboard...do they?

(Those little animations are the only thing I see missing so far...cool!)

The little guys running around on these ships really makes the game more fun for me, I know it shouldn't ...but it does!

I can't wait to try that "pilot" mission.

lol. i docked south of singapore because i lost my base during a mission, sank a large life boat with the main deck gun.
they gave me a medal

maybe they thought, hey he sank a BB sod the law.

I came across one downed lonely Japanese pilot in the middle of the ocean (after having to crash dive a few times with many aircraft) in my S-Class Tub.

He was apparently yelling something about Bushido and refused to come on board.

I simply couldnt pick him up even after several attempts - Is this feature working?
