Black Sky

Hi All,
I'm sure I've seen this somewhere but can't find it.
The blue sky in my GWX has changed to black. I expect it will be something to do with the graphics, but my other SH3 installations are unaffected.
I have 512mb Geforce FX7300LE, and have been very impressed so far. Even at 2048 TC I can run at up to 35FPS. I also have 1 gig of ram.
I'd be glad of any suggestions.

Have you installed any other mods prior to it going black ?

I do have the mods on board, but I have taken them all out 'cos I thought the same as you I expect, but it made no difference.
Having survived 7 missions I don't want to reinstall. Maybe I'll just have to live with it, but permanently overcast skies are depressing.

Which visibility setting are you using? 8Km or 16? Click on the link in my signature and download the one you need. Then just add it to your GWX installation and you should be OK. Make sure you do this while you're in port and rollback SH3Cmd before using them.

It may be that you added a mod without rolling back commander first

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the suggestions from Bigboywooly and Melnonian. I'm sure I did mod without rolling back.
The file replacement may have worked except that there is no ENV folder in the 8KM mod, ergo no sky! I saved the missions and reinstalled, but now I don't know where to put them to carry on the career?

Hi All,
I think I stumbled on the cause of the Black Sky problem I had.
Having reinstalled and put in the Mods I was using, it happened again! By removing one at a time I found the offending file to be REL_GWX__Flavoured_to_taste_V4.7z. Be warned. I got suspicious when I read the text and saw something about scene.dat from GWX 16K being put in.
